We know that understanding your organisation and your specific role demands is critical in ensuring any assessment or development process is fit for purpose.
Closely matched, compatible candidates = good loyalty, retention and ROI. It’s that simple!
At iMeasure we take the time to thoroughly understand your organisation through our unique profiling consultation process.
This identifies the requirements profile and role competencies that can then support the bespoke application of assessment measures.
With so many off-the-shelf psychometric and people assessments available today, it is critical to ensure your processes and assessments actually address the behaviours and competencies that your people will need to not only perform their roles well but also to thrive in your organisation.
By undertaking our profiling consultation we can ensure that the relevant and appropriate measures & weightings are applied to your assessment tools and processes, to ensure a close reflection on your company priorities.
We can also provide a half-day training event to inform relevant stakeholders of the key profile considerations in addition to how the profile insights are incorporated into any assessment outputs or reports.
To ensure we gain a complete picture of your organisation our first step involves capturing the views and input from across key company personnel. From online questionnaires, video or phone interviews with personnel to larger group sessions with key stakeholders; our consultation process drills down to the critical factors that influence recruitment, assessment and development activities. We adjust to fit in with your business, adopting whichever methods/combination of methods is most convenient for you to enable us to get to know your organisation.
All of the information obtained from the initial profiling process is analysed to determine key aspects including organisational culture, company ethos & values, Leadership and Management style, wider cultural or demographic sensitivities, future or aspirational directions, expectations of employees, typical working environment and demands and much more.
Part of our analysis looks to gain full insight into what life will look like for a potential employee. From understanding what attracts individuals to your organisation in the first place, to what ultimately causes them to leave or impacts retention, along with everything in-between. This can include any frequent issues or challenges, reasons for difficulties and failures during training or probation periods, as well as what the opportunities are for development and progression longer-term.
The culmination of the previous 3 stages of the process is a requirements profile; an in-depth document delivered to you that outlines the key competencies, skills, attitudes and behaviours required for the role. You will also receive aggregated summaries of the initial data capture and respondent views.
As well as outlining all the key competencies and attributes required for the role, your Requirements Profile will also provide an insight into the weighting and prioritisation that these elements have been assigned. Understanding what is important for the role informs this prioritisation – what is essential, what is desirable, what is tolerated and what is undesirable and not tolerated.
The ultimate result of iMeasure’s profiling service is the ability to finely tune your people management processes so they are measuring the behaviours and competencies critical to your roles – from recruitment, assessment & selection activities to ongoing development support and talent management, we will align your assessment tools and measures with your role requirements and organisational priorities.
